Additional costs possible

Together with our collaborators we try to minimize delivery costs. The shipping cost includes the delivery of the package to the destination address entered in the order. However, depending on the destination country, various other costs may occur as follows:

  • no additional fees are charged for deliveries within the European Union. All taxes are included.
  • for the other countries, additional fees may be charged depending on the customs system of each individual country. These are determined by the customs authorities and are payable by the recipient at the time of delivery of the package.

In Romania, the parcel will be delivered by one of our local partners: Cargus, SameDay, GLS, Sameday. Internationally, you will benefit from DHL services through the DHL Express service.

For returned orders, shipping costs will not be refunded.

If you choose delivery to Sameday lockers, after placing the order, a page will open where you can choose the nearest locker.

All orders received before 14:00 (GMT) will be shipped the same day (valid for Romania). Orders to other countries will be delivered the next day. We try to respect these deadlines with the exception of weekends and public holidays in Romania. For orders placed after 2:00 p.m., shipping time is calculated from the next business day. However, please consider that during very busy periods (Mondays, holidays or periods with extra discounts, such as Winter or Summer Promotions, Black Friday and other campaigns) the shipping time may be extended by up to in 6-8 working days.

For delivery to the destination, please consider the following times depending on the delivery address:

  • in Romania: 1-2 days from the date of shipment confirmation
  • In the EU: the delivery time is usually 3-4 days, but it can extend up to 6-7 working days
  • to the other countries: about 5-10 working days from the date of shipment. Possible delays may occur depending on various unforeseen situations.

However, please consider that during very busy periods (holidays or periods with extra discounts) it is possible to extend these times.

As soon as the order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email and information that will help you track the order. We recommend that you create a customer account on our website to be able to follow the status of shipments more easily. Go to the My Account section and you will be able to see all the details related to the current or previous orders.

delivery to another address

If you want to give a gift to your loved ones or simply want us to deliver your package to a different address, we will gladly take care of it. In the ordering process you have the possibility to enter a different delivery address. However, please keep in mind that in the case of orders from Romania with delivery to any other country, we will not be able to offer the cash on delivery service.

product returns and exchanges

We do our best to ensure your satisfaction and comfort with every purchase on our site. If, however, there is something that does not fully delight you or does not meet the level of your expectations, we will find the most suitable solution for you.

All products sold on the website www.sofiaman.ro can be returned or exchanged within 30 days. However, please keep in mind that there are a number of products that are an exception to the return rule, according to the provisions of art. 16, lit. d and e of GEO 34/2014, updated, as they are:

  • underwear (regardless of its condition)
  • products with visible signs of wear or damaged by customers
  • incomplete products (ex: blouse without pants in the case of sets)
  • cosmetic products, perfumes and air fresheners that are likely to deteriorate or whose expiry date has passed on the return date - for reasons of health protection
  • cosmetic products, perfumes and air fresheners that have been unsealed by the consumer - for reasons of hygiene
  • products brought into stock following a firm special order, for which full or partial advance payment has been made
  • products that do not have an obvious seal and for which it cannot be proven that they have not been previously opened

For products with manufacturing defects or which were delivered in error, the return and exchange of products will be carried out free of charge .

If you want to exchange the product for another size, model or color, we will be more than happy to help you. We will check the stocks of the new product and notify you immediately of its availability. Also in this case you benefit from free shipping for the new product .

All returns sent by post are subject to a return fee of 19.00 lei deducted from the amount refunded. To support you, you can benefit from free returns in one of our stores, except OUTLET ones. Refunds will be issued exclusively by bank transfer within 14 working days.

In case of exchanges, the value of the new product will be at least equal to the value of the returned product. In case of purchase using a gift card, the purchase price cannot be refunded if you want to return a product. You can use this value for any other future purchase.
