We know the interview isn't easy, so we've created this page to tell you what to expect and how to prepare.
How to prepare for

Hello! We are very excited to have you come to interview with our team. We know it's not easy looking for a job, so we've put together this page so you know what to expect.
About our interview process:
At Sofiaman, the interview process generally consists of a discussion in 2-3 rounds of "in person" (or video) meetings. Your interviewers will be members of the Sofiaman team or members of a team specially appointed to make the selection.
If we advance after the first rounds, depending on the position you are competing for, we may ask you to complete a project that you will complete in your free time and which will then be analyzed during the next round of interviews. After the final rounds, we will also check your references.
There are a number of factors that determine the length of a process, which are largely beyond our control, but we aim to get back to you with decisions on next steps (or at least an update) within a week of any interview. If you don't hear from us, please contact your recruitment contact - you never bother us and we consider it our duty to provide you with timely information!
What can we ask you:
Most of the questions that will be asked at the interview will be related to one of the 3 areas below:
- Technical skills or previous experience directly related to the job or our business needs.
- Your approach to completing your tasks, including how you work with others in the team, including how you collaborate or communicate
- Your enthusiasm, passion and knowledge. about our brand and the role you will be joining
We often ask behavioral questions that focus on gathering examples from past experiences you've had. For tips on how to answer behavioral questions, see the STAR Method .
To prepare, we recommend:
- Reviewing the job description and considering the skills and capabilities we are looking for someone to bring to the position. Think of examples that demonstrate your skills in each area.
- Researching our company and considering how the team you want to join is an integral part of our goals.
Come as you are:
When you show up for our interviews, come as you really are, authentically. Our interview will always be about what you know how to do, not about how you carry yourself, hair, makeup (or lack thereof), tattoos, what religion you have, etc. The last thing we would ever want is for someone to feel like they have to change when they come to meet us.
During the interview:
When you meet with the team for interviews in person (or virtually), each conversation lasts 30-45 minutes. To ensure we conduct fair interviews and assessments, we train our interviewers to ask all candidates the same questions that are directly related to the job and the company. Whenever possible, we keep the last 5 minutes of each interview to answer any questions you may have. We understand that you are also interviewing us, and we encourage you to ask questions that will help you determine if the role is right for you.
